1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site with no government connection. It does not store official criminal records and cannot retrieve records, perform an official background check, or submit documents for a user.

Its content directs readers to Person County custodians and North Carolina systems, including the Sheriff's Office, Clerk of Superior Court, North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, and North Carolina Sex Offender and Public Protection Registry. Some pages also provide access to outside research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

By using the site, you agree not to:

• Use bots, scrapers, or other automated means against the pages
• Attempt unauthorized entry into any system or account
• Use site information to threaten, stalk, or harass another person
• Rely on the content for hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions
• Interfere with site performance or another visitor's access

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

The warning is especially important for the North Carolina Sex Offender and Public Protection Registry. North Carolina's Article 27A governs public registry information, and misuse may lead to criminal or civil consequences. • Evaluate an applicant for housing
• Make an employment decision
• Decide eligibility for a permit, license, or government benefit
• Carry out any other FCRA-regulated decision

Any check required for a regulated purpose must come through the proper official process or a screening provider that complies with the FCRA.
